This short film will show you the richness of uniting our differences.

I give you light in your dark days, you give me calm in my stormy days, I give you smiles in your sad moments. We are like day and night, yet we always meet at dusk to merge our differences on the horizon.
This is another delightful short film from the Pixar factory, an animated production that you should see in the company of the little ones to be able to draw a pleasant smile of surprise, complacency and wisdom as a family.
Being like day and night does not imply that our differences drag us to the poles, if we are able to open our minds and understand our hearts, we will meet in the warm evenings to learn from each other.
In a world where rules, fashions and traditions command us most of the time to always act in a similar way, there is nothing more authentic than to know how to be different, to know how to stand out for our qualities and thoughts in order to enrich ourselves and others.
However, it is clear that it is never easy to accept what is not like us. And this is what our Pixar short film is all about, because "Day and Night" is a simple reflection on those "everyday reversals" that we should also pay attention to from time to time.
When day and night fuse their differences at dusk
The day wakes up calmly before the arrival of the morning. Everything is calm and the usual process begins, those activities that give it life and weave its universe of light, activity and life. However, at a given moment, he stumbles upon a strange and dark being that dozes in a corner...
Accepting that differences enrich us is a pending challenge of humanity itself, and although it is something that is sometimes achieved on a small scale, it is an account to be overcome by society itself.
The creature that sleeps placidly in its dark cloak is the night. Its way of life is very different from what the day knows. How to accept these differences? It is complicated, not to say almost impossible. They are two universes so different that they can only look at each other with mistrust.
People, evolutionarily, find it very difficult to accept everything that is different from us: we consider it a threat.
Unconsciously, day by day we generate many prejudices and attributions that do not always conform to reality. We do this in order to have an apparent control of what surrounds us, and thus, feel safe.
However, when something appears that breaks this balance, the first thing we feel is fear in the face of these obvious differences. After fear, comes fear and the consequent rejection.
Our brain is used to generate certain cognitive schemes about people and social groups. And to this, we also add those negative evaluations that sometimes the experience has offered us.

This short film will help you think if you are happy with what you do.
Are you happy with what you do? Often, we make ourselves invisible and don't even question whether we are where we want to be.
If a person of a certain nationality treated me badly, I may come to think that all people in that country will act the same way. And if I was brought up as a child to consider "a threat" to anyone who does not share the social and religious patterns in which I was raised, surely, when I grow up, I will have a very limited vision of what the world is, and the richness of its values in terms of diversity.
It is necessary to meet at sunset. It is a vital need to know how to understand that differences are those pieces that build knowledge, that enrich us as people and that sometimes make us discover that we are not so different from each other.
We must dream by day, we must dream by night and live each day of our lives enjoying our similarities and discovering how our differences, sometimes, are nothing more than an unnoticeable line in the evening sun.
From our space we invite you to do so, to stop polarizing things so much. Nothing is completely white or completely black. There is no day that cannot defeat the night, nor night that vanishes at dawn.
Life is an endless cycle where we all advance a little more each moment. And everything will be easier if we let ourselves go with respect, and above all taking care of who we have at our side. It is possible that your interior hides fantastic worlds to discover.
It may even be able to give you light in your dark days, and even make you love the differences that separate you. Don't hesitate, and enjoy this little audiovisual delight...

Fara probleme
Stare excelenta
Clipeste neasteptat din cand in cand si cand se intampla asta trebuie doar sa il opresc. in rest, functioneaza foarte bine!

Pret mare, fara probleme pana acum. Toate in jurul valorii de fericit!
Pana in prezent, un telefon minunat

Produs de mare calitate! Telefonul functioneaza foarte bine!
Pana in prezent, totul este bine.
imi place foarte mult! Conditie excelenta! O mica zgarietura in ecran, dar nimic major si nimic in alta parte.
Nu am avut nicio problema cu telefonul. Foarte multumit de aceasta achizitie.
NU A PRIMIT TELEFONUL DOAR iNCaRCaTORUL!!! CUTIE, DE ASEMENEA, PaREA Sa FIE DEJA DESCHIS !!!

The olfactory reference syndrome: when the belief of smelling bad invades daily life

п»ї<title>Agency, the art of owning our life</title>
[Obrazek: hombre-saltando.jpg].
To refer to the feeling of being in charge of our lives we use the term "agency". To be agents of our lives means to know where we are, to know how to tell what happens to us, to feel the ability to shape circumstances....
Physical agencies, such as travel agencies, are in charge of offering services that help people meet certain needs, and that's why people come to them. We too have internal needs of various kinds that are only met by our own agency in the first instance, even though other aids or services may also be involved. Hence the importance of our agency functioning in the best possible way.
"Our existence is unique and the results we get will depend on how well you manage it."
-Dressel-
Agency begins with interoceptionWe speak of interoception to refer to the perception that each person has of the internal state of his or her organism; information that helps us to maintain bodily equilibrium (homeostasis). Body, mind and brain are closely related, so interoception is not merely physiological, it is also linked to subjective sensations, such as emotions.
The greater our knowledge at the interoceptive level, the more capacity and potential we will have to manage our life. That is to say, if we are aware of the changes that occur in our environment, external and internal, we will be able to adapt better.
"Freedom lies in being masters of our own life."
-Plato-
The effects of loss of agency In the wonderful book The Body Takes the Score (Bessel van der Kolk, M.D.) describes the loss of agency that occurs in many war veterans. Many of these men are anchored to the past, attached in some way to an environment in which they learned to function according to certain norms that only work in a conflict context.
In addition, for various reasons, people may feel insecure within their own bodies. For example, by constantly reliving the past in the form of internal discomfort. Let's think that we are creatures of habit, and many people learn to ignore their instincts and numb awareness of their inner self. In this sense, ignoring our inner self increases the loss of control.
Many health problems, such as chronic pain, fatigue, headaches and/or migraines are examples of inner cries that need urgent attention and may be the consequence of ignoring our inner sage. Actually, not being agents of our life comes at a price: ignoring or not detecting what is actually dangerous or harmful to us or, conversely, not detecting what is safe or empowering.
How can we become more agents of our life?
"Being able to put words to what we feel, giving it meaning, respecting our sensations and emotions, connecting with our needs, are the fundamental keys in the art of owning our life."
The medial prefrontal cortex (MPFC), metaphorically known as "the watchtower" is in charge of monitoring our bodily sensations. We now know that conscious meditation and yoga can help us to regulate ourselves and become more aware of our bodily sensations, and therefore to manage with strength the helm of our life.
Today, the effect of somatic or body work on the release of energy has been proven, especially in those people who are blocked, such as war veterans trapped in terror. Working on interoception through physical exercise is good training to better understand the messages our body sends us about our needs.
In short, to talk about agency is to talk about knowing and trusting what our hunches, our body, our feelings, our self are telling us. This agency understands that taking control of our lives - in the face of other forces that want to rule them - is not an easy task, and begins with knowing ourselves, accepting and understanding ourselves, and from there developing a personal life project. Some questions can be very useful to reflect on our capacity for agency: What do you expect from life? What are your dreams and aspirations? What or who can help you to promote a small change starting from the position in which you find yourself?

Michelangelo Buonarroti: biography of a genius ahead of his time.

п»ї<title>Michelangelo Buonarroti: biography of a genius ahead of his time.</title>
[Obrazek: la-creacion-de-adan.png]
Michelangelo Buonarroti was one of the most outstanding geniuses of the Italian Renaissance. In him were contained those four great virtues of the artist of his time: he was an architect, painter, sculptor and poet. However, if there was something for which he stood out, it was for the talent he brought to each of his works. Such aesthetic realism and strength in his art had never been seen before.
Perhaps, much of the emotional intensity with which he endowed each of his paintings and sculptures, came from his own character. He was not an easy man. His personality, hard as the stone he sculpted, often swung between anger, pride and a desire for solitude. He was a rich man, yet he never wanted to enjoy his own possessions.
He always enjoyed the admiration of his contemporaries. The ecclesiastical elite adored him, the Popes demanded his art and his hands to give life to their basilicas, light to their walls and body to the most outstanding biblical figures. Sculptures such as the Pieta or the David, are two illustrative and exceptional examples of his charisma and genius. Only comparable to Leonardo Da Vinci.
Michelangelo was the leading figure of the Renaissance, where a period in crisis was imprinted. Around him, the rumor of religious wars, the shadow of the Counter-Reformation and the arrival of another artistic style, Mannerism, could already be heard.
"The true work of art is but a shadow of divine perfection."
-Michelangelo Buonarroti-
Michelangelo Buonarroti, biography of the Renaissance geniusMichelangelo Buonarroti was born in 1475 in Caprese, a town in Tuscany. His family, of good standing, held positions of renown in the Florence of the time. Already as a child he showed a high ability for artistic areas. However, his father, Ludovico di Leonardo, was of the opinion that this should not be the path for the second of his five children.
Michelangelo had to take care of the family's social status. Therefore, it was best for him to pursue other areas. Hence his father decided to send him to Florence to study grammar with the humanist Francesco da Urbino. However, the young Buonarroti already showed character from his youth. He was very clear about what his path was going to be, that which was already contained in hands eager to create.
He took advantage of that Florentine period to make contact with the whole artistic context of the city. It did not take him long to enter as an apprentice in a workshop belonging to the Medici. Later, he would surprise Lorenzo the Magnificent himself (whom historians call the father of the Renaissance) after producing his first artistic works. The master Michelangelo Buonarroti was about to be born artistically. That first step enabled him, among other things, to take care of his family after his father went bankrupt.
The titanic works of a sculptor with characterIt was at the Medici Academy that Michelangelo Buonarroti came into contact with Plato's theories. These guided him in shaping his works, whether literary or plastic. In 1492 his life changed with the death of Lorenzo de' Medici. He temporarily left the court and began to carry out various works in Bologna and Rome, where he gave testimony of his great artistic imprint.
He sculpted a polychrome wooden crucifix for the prior of the Florentine church of Santo Spirito. In 1493 he bought a huge block of marble and sculpted a gigantic statue of Hercules. It was the largest ever seen in those days. At the age of 21, he arrived in Rome to carry out a work commissioned by Cardinal Raffaele Riario. It was another titanic statue, this time a pair of the god Bacchus.
In 1505 Pope Julius II himself commissioned Michelangelo Buonarroti to create a work of epic proportions. It was a funeral monument, a work that was to have about 40 figures. At one point, however, the pontiff gave more importance to Bramante's renovation of St. Peter's Basilica. Michelangelo, displeased by this gesture, leaves Rome, leaving his work half finished.
He is about to be excommunicated for his refusal to return. However, he finally gives in, thus beginning the fame of his character and pride. At the same time, he begins a relationship as complex as it is productive with Pope Julius II himself. From this union came such important works as the Moses and the Sistine Chapel itself. For which Michelangelo demanded total freedom of creation from the pontiff. And so it was.
The loves of Michelangelo Buonarroti
Michelangelo Buonarroti had a special fascination for the human body. His titanic works always guarded that beauty and vigorousness that inspired him in many of the young men with whom he interacted daily in his workshop. Thus, names like Cecchino dei Bracci or Tommaso Cavalieri, his disciples, were part of the affective life of the artist.
His relationship with a lady of noble position, Vittoria Colonna, is also documented. They were united by their passion for poetry, religion and Dante's work. In fact, this widow was for Michelangelo the perfect ideal of the Beatrice of the Divine Comedy. She was his inspiration in life and also in death, since this lady died early, leaving a mark of marked sadness in Buonarroti's life.
Last years, The PietГ  of RondaniniMiguel ГЃngel Buonarroti began The PietГ  of Rondanini in 1556, when he was already in his eighties. He was unable to finish it. His health was not good, he was lonely, besieged by officials and bothered above all by the changes that were taking place in the artistic world. The Council of Trent had forbidden the appearance of nudes in religious art. For the master Buonarroti, this was an affront.
In fact, Pope Pius IV had hired Daniele da Volterra to hide the "nudity" of many of the works already made by the great master. Michelangelo was exhausted, frustrated and tremendously hurt by his surroundings. The Rondanini PietГ  is a clear reflection of the state of mind of that genius sculptor, of that Renaissance master.
In this work we see two ghostly figures, with hardly any features, elongated faces that symbolize almost a silent cry wrapped in sorrow. It was the premonitory farewell of an artist who had given life to marble, who made his sculptures beat with chisel in hand, who had brought splendor to the Church with his titanic works... The same ones that were now being altered, profaned.
Michelangelo died in 1564 and was buried in Florence surrounded by his friends. His name was part of that splendorous Renaissance that was already beginning its decline, evolving towards Mannerism. He was the artist of emphasis, passion and extreme emotion. His legacy undoubtedly had the same strength and even today, he continues to leave us breathless.

Do you have a proper scale of values?
Nie masz uprawnień, aby zobaczyć linki. Zarejestruj sie lub Zaloguj

п»ї<title>Do you have a proper scale of values?</title>
[Obrazek: mujer-rostro-transparente.jpg]
The scale of values is that classification that we make ourselves at a mental level and that serves us to make decisions. Not all the scales of values have to coincide, and in addition, depending on our personality, our age, our sex even, it is probable that we have a scale of values or another one. On the other hand, this scale is changeable and the order is sensitive to circumstances.
On the other hand, there are no right or wrong scales of values, but there are dysfunctional ones. When our scale of values is not the right one, it is normal that we suffer for situations, people or facts of life that, in principle, should not hurt us so much.
If we attach too much importance to such superficial vital contents as our physique, our profession or whether or not we have a partner, it is very likely that we will end up obsessing about achieving goals related to these values.
Although desire is legitimate and drives us to live and to advance along the paths that interest us, it is also important to differentiate desires from needs and it would therefore be advisable to avoid building a scale of values that condemns us to suffering or constant frustration.
Why are there unhealthy scales of values? It happens to all of us that in one way or another, our scale of values is not always the perfect scale and this is normal. There are people who place more value on being thin than on being good friends, good parents or children, for example.
This happens because we live in a society and a culture, especially the Western one, which already predisposes us to have a misaligned scale of values.
If I am a 16-year-old teenager and I am constantly seeing that society is governed by certain standards of beauty -a rule of measurement that largely conditions the assessment of others-, it will not be unusual for the teenager to focus on adapting her physique to this standard. In addition, it is also likely that she will consider it a main objective, suffering on those occasions when she feels that obstacles appear that she cannot overcome to achieve it.
Also, if I have internalized that grades make me more deserving of the love and consideration of others, I am likely to put all my efforts into improving my grades. Thus, learning would be relegated to a second term, prioritizing evaluation.
The point is that social ideas about the different aspects of being human are extremely biased. Not only do they associate the possession of certain traits, such as being handsome or intelligent, with being a good person, but if that were not enough, they also link it to happiness.
Who hasn't heard the phrase: "you're going to be over the hill", "you're going to be left for dead"? These phrases, for example, give value to having a partner, children and family. And of course it has value, but we cannot place it at the top of our scale, since it is possible that we do not have it and that would not be an obstacle to be worthwhile people.
What happens, if we believe these things, is that we suffer a lot if in the end "we are left to dress saints" because we tell ourselves that we are failures or that we are second-class people, when this has no real basis whatsoever.
What would be the ideal scale of values? There is no ideal scale of values, but it would be very convenient to review our own and identify in which areas of our life we suffer the most. Probably, if you see that you are stuck in one area, you do not flow as in the others and on top of that you suffer for it, you think too much or you invest much of your energy in it, maybe you have given it too much value.
It would not be bad if you began to realize with the eyes of reality that surely that to which you attach so much value, really does not have it. Or at least, not to that extent.
It is necessary to keep in mind that what makes almost all human beings really happy is, first of all, to be good people, with ourselves and with others. If this is fulfilled, we can subtract value to the rest of things, so that they become desirable goals or objectives, but not essential.
To behave well with others, to help them, to support them is a value that any human being can make his own. It is a practically innate value that comes from within. When this value is not developed, it is difficult for a person to be happy, even if he/she has cultivated all the other areas.
It is possible that you have a lot of money, a spectacular house, many sexual relations and a socially admirable profession, while your circle of support is very small. Why do you want then all that you have?
Although sometimes we may think, because that is what we have been sold, that the order is: first the superficial in order to obtain the love of others and my own, the reality is that it is just the other way around. First of all, I would have to cultivate accepting myself, simply being me and at the same time loving others for who they are. Once I develop this value, I will surely get others. The good thing is that they will no longer be needs, but genuine desires.
Security, friendship and love attract the rest of the values and, by extension, also make us more attractive to us. Besides, the best thing about it is not what you get, but the way you enjoy it, which is much better.

Thoughts can be shaped

п»ї<title>Thoughts can be shaped</title>
[Obrazek: mente-persona-con-piezas-tetris.jpg]
Thinking is like breathing, most of the time we do it without realizing it. Now, thoughts help us decide. In fact, without our internal mental processes, we would have great difficulty in managing in certain circumstances, especially the most uncertain ones.
One of the most important facets of our way of thinking is the style we use to explain the events that affect us. The model developed by Martin Seligman analyzes how we are affected by the permanence or duration of the impact of events, the penetrability or extension we assign to their effects and the personalization or degree of personal responsibility we are willing to assume for what happened.
The more permeable we are to these filters, the more irrational thoughts and life philosophies we will dogmatically hold. This is the main root of emotional and behavioral disturbances. Paul Watzlawick, psychologist and professor of psychology at Stanford University, describes with irony in his book The Art of Making Life Bitter how negative the consequences of some of the most unconscious thoughts can be.
We forget that we have more power over ourselves than we think. It is not the things that happen to us that cause us discomfort, but the thoughts we have about them, the way we interpret them. Therefore, when judging the circumstances that affect us, explanations that minimize the impact on our well-being or facilitate the acceptance of what happened are preferable.
"Hacelock Ellis says, "The place where optimism flourishes most is in lunatic asylums."
Albert Einstein states, 'For I would rather be a mad optimist than a sane pessimist.'"
-Alice Calaprice, The Einstein Quotes (1966).
Can we shape the way we think.Thinking can be conceived of as a behavior as well as a belief, and like all behaviors, it can be shaped. To do this, it is crucial to understand the way in which thoughts arise. Thoughts are not something concrete that can be altered directly, but arise through an interaction between an organism and an environment. Therefore, in order to modify our way of thinking we need to know the antecedents and consequences of our thoughts, i.e. whether they help us or hinder us.
Now, we cannot unlearn a certain way of thinking, but we can learn to do it differently. There are behaviors that we learn not to do, but they do not disappear from our repertoires. We just don't do them anymore. The same thing happens with thoughts. We simply learn to modify what we say to ourselves by exercising conscious control over our mind.
If our thoughts are inflexible, dogmatic or absolute and are expressed in terms of obligation, need or demand, they will usually provoke inappropriate negative emotions (guilt, anger, anxiety, fear). And these can interfere with the achievement of our goals and also generate behavioral disturbances such as isolation or avoidance and escape behaviors.
To shape inflexible thoughts we must assume that what we are thinking now is not going to disappear completely. We need to abandon the strategy of suppressing or substituting thoughts altogether, and instead be more flexible and interpretive by reframing our beliefs to create distance from their content. This undermines the influence of irrational thoughts on our behavior and mood. Thus, the key is to create distance between what we think and who we are.
For example, to try to change our way of thinking we need to ask ourselves: what useful thoughts could we add to our repertoire, or what thoughts open up rational perspectives and more flexible responses?
How to use our thoughts without them using usThoughts can be our greatest allies or our worst enemies. The relationship we establish with them depends on us. In addition, let us not forget that through our mental processes we can identify what is bothering us.
Our thoughts have a lot to tell us if we ask ourselves the right questions: Why does an idea bother us so much? How much importance do we give to a certain thought? Does it really have that much relevance?
The problem with thinking is that we have very limited control over it. It is impossible to decide never to think about a memory again and completely refrain from doing so. The symbolic relationships that connect our thoughts to each other require us to accept that they can always come back, even if we don't want them to.
To think rationally is to think relativistically, expressing ourselves in terms of desires and tastes rather than absolute demands. When people think in a healthy way, even when they do not get what they want, the negative feelings that these situations generate, do not prevent the achievement of new goals or purposes.
Therefore, thinking in a balanced way is something that is within the reach of anyone who puts enough effort into achieving it. Therefore, if you make an intelligent effort, your thoughts will become your greatest ally.

п»ї<title>Debate Skills</title>
[Obrazek: hombres-hablando-sobre-habilidades-para-el-debate.jpg].
In a historical moment where it seems obligatory to have an opinion on any topic it is very interesting to observe debates. These appear as a natural element of the social relationship: we see them regularly in different contexts such as social networks, television or other media. Hence, it is important to have certain debating skills: we never know when we can get involved in a debate.
On the other hand, the ability to debate is a type of skill that is often practiced, but little thought is given to it. So, if we break with tradition, we will realize what debating skills can be developed. The educational field has relegated this type of training to specific studies, because, although debate skills are often referred to as transversal skills, the truth is that often, since they are not specifically included in the curriculum of any subject, they end up being absent skills.
In addition, critical thinking and argumentation and refutation techniques are essential tools to defend an argument or an idea. Social networks are a perfect field for the development of these skills. Thus, when we analyze the disputes that take place in them, it is easy to identify different shortcomings in communication. The most common, and sad at the same time, is usually the lack of respect for those who do not share the ideas defended.
Critical thinking and analytical skillsCritical thinking is one of the skills for debate. It implies being able to think reflectively, differentiating solid arguments from mere mirages. By being critical we will appreciate that on many occasions opinions are formed based on the mere repetition of arguments created by campaigns aimed precisely at creating a certain current of opinion.
Critical thinking goes in the other direction. It is based on logical thinking and critical analysis of ideas or dogmas in order not to reach hasty conclusions. It avoids biased analysis, euphemisms and arguments based on assumptions.
As we have already noted, the good news is that critical thinking can be trained. It starts with consciously choosing the source of information. On the other hand, it is important to separate the information from the medium from which we have obtained it. It is true that the medium may or may not inspire confidence, but that does not exempt us from critically analyzing information that we are going to give as an argument in a debate.
ArgumentationMaking an argument, or a series of arguments, consists of providing information and reasons to defend an opinion. Particularly when an issue lends itself to debate or discussion. We start from the basis of critical thinking with which we have analyzed and reflected on the idea to be defended. Argumentation has several elements:
Although it may seem obvious, the object of the argumentation is an element to consider. One must know what is being debated, whether it is the economic or political situation or any other topic. And you must have knowledge about the subject, not just opinion.
The thesis, or the main idea to be defended. It is the idea, or ideas, on which the argumentation will revolve. It is important to have a clear concept and to state it correctly.
The body: It is the development of the ideas or positions to be defended. It is here where the object to be discussed is reflected upon from all possible angles. It is composed of two elements: the argumentation and the refutation of opposing arguments.
The conclusion: It can be an affirmation, when the arguments are explanatory of the object of debate. Or it can be of a suggested nature, when no definitive conclusions have been reached and research or future developments on the subject are suggested. On the other hand, it is important to know how to close a debate when it has already exhausted its course or when the positions are very entrenched.
RefutationRefutation is based on finding the inconsistency in the opposing argument. For example, we have all fallen at some time into the temptation to generalize from personal experiences, reaching erroneous conclusions.
In addition to the possible gaps, it must be taken into account that for every argument there is a counter-argument, the idea that refutes it. The same parameters of logic and critical thinking must be applied to this counter-argument as to the initial argumentation; otherwise, inconsistency will be served.
That is why one of the skills for debate is to handle counter-arguments intelligently. That is to say, at a certain moment, when someone has made the mistake of overgeneralizing, we may be interested in transferring the idea to a broader context. For example, if we are discussing an economic law that seems to work for one country, perhaps it would be good to see how it works in the economy of other countries or even at other levels.
"That person might be asked if they haven't considered that the world is much vaster than their point of view, and that their perception of a fact is not necessarily that of everyone on the planet."
-Susan Sontag
Some techniques for developing debating skillsAcquiring debating skills is a strength that will serve us well on countless occasions and in many different areas of our lives. It requires analytical intelligence and well-trained resources. Some resources that can help us are simple, such as the use of rational arguments based on ideas that are already accepted by society and that, in general, relate cause and effect or are based on analogies.
The ability to debate is an art that can be acquired and trained. It is a social skill with a very high return: grateful, bearing good fruits, if we want to invest in it. In this sense, there are training courses and training in debating skills where you can acquire all the techniques and resources for it.
